Vertical Snapping ?

Unless I'm missing something obvious, is there a vertical snapping feature with pixel setting ?

It snaps horizontally no problem, position and size but when I move vertically, it's smooth and non snapping.

Have I missed something in the options? (I suppose i could just make a grid or get a grid and apply it as desktop wallpaper and use that as a guide but vertical snapping would be much easier obviously.

Fences will snap based on the settings you use under "Layout & snapping". I currently have "Keep Fences lined up when moving", "Keep Fences spaced 5 pixels apart when moving." and "Keep Fences sized to even multiples..." all checked and have this result:

It won't necessarily have the "snapping" animation when you are not at the edge of the screen, but it does allow you to keep those same constraints. no matter where you are placing the fence. 

Is that what you're referring to?
