Multiplicity -- cursor size changes to default afte win 10 reboot

Using Multiplicity 3.44 with two laptops

 Both are win 10

I set the cursor size in win settings to the large/inverted scheme on both machines.  After reboot, both machines reset to default normal/white cursor.

Is this normal?  If not, what to do to maintain cursor size?
