Strange Behavior when I use Multiplicity in remote session
Using Multiplicity with remote access to SQL Server
I'm not sure if it's a bug or what causes this but I work on a remote server that runs SQL Server 2008 R2. I have 4 screens and two computers in my office and I jump back and forth between them using Multiplicity which works fine unless I am switching back to the computer that is connected to the SQL server. During the day when working on the remote server I have open on the remote server SQL Management Studio where I run various commands and queries. Now, if I'm working on the server in SSMS and switch to the computer that is NOT connected to the server and then switch back my keys display erratic behavior. For example hitting the letter 'a' may open the file menu, trying to move line to line by hitting enter instead opens up the properties window in SSMS! It's very weird. Apparently something is getting messed up on the remote computer. What I've found is that sometimes hitting escape key over and over then refreshing will sometimes fix it but usually I have to close the query window I was working on and open a new one.
Again not sure if this is just a limitation, bug, or something else but thought I would share it. Windows 10 64 Bit local computers.
