Why doesn't ObjectDock use/take the icons from desktop shortcuts ?

When I move desktop shortcuts to the ObjectDock, the stupid program doesn't use the icon from the desktop shortcut but uses the globe Symbol.

Also some icons on a desktop shortcuts look way sharper than in ObjectDock, where it get's totally blurry though it's actual Symbol size is NOT bigger than the one from the Desktop.

Can't believe, that ObjectDock is not able to copy the icon-info from a shortcut.
