WB version 4

I purchased Object desktop just before ver 4 was released,
days before and was sent ver 3.5 on the CD.

When I went to the manager it said version 4 was availiable so I clicked on it and it now say's installed, but when I click "about WB" on the tray icon it says version 3.5.

I also bought WB stand alone a few months ago, but when I go to support and they send me my reg numbers and links it is for version 3.5.

I don't seem to have all the ver 4.0 features so I figure there must be a problem, if there is a rep in this forum can I get the
version 4.0 stand alone??
I will no doubt have to uninstall the whole thing and start fresh .

Uninstall whatever WB versions you have installed and then use the Object Desktop's Component Manager to install WB 4. (If you purchased a standalone WB license on or after January 1, 2003 you can get WB 4 via a direct download via this page: https://www.stardock.com/support.asp . Otherwise a standalone license for the WB4 upgrade costs $10) Since you have OD, it's usually just easier to use CM to download/install since you already have a registered and current OD license.

Also, just to clarify since you're asking for a Stardock rep in this forum, you should know that this is not a Stardock support board. People here will pitch in to assist if they can, but this WC message board is for socializing and some help with WC/skinning stuff. If you want product assistance/support from Stardock you should email them directly.

I did that and took it out with regedit, downloaded again,
backed up first and installed.

All is well!
