Classic Windows in XP is not exactly what people regard as XP styles or the XP theme (aka Luna). At any rate, if you want to get the XP styled double Start Menu in W98 you will need the Object Bar program. If you want the XP Luna type theme or themes, you need WindowBlinds Program. See here: https://www.stardock.com/

In short if you want to make W98 look like XP (Classic or Luna) you need both Object Bar and WindowBlinds to do so.

Ah, right you are, DM. So...to clarify for W98 users: you can use WindowBlinds 3.5 which works on W98 and is currently available. WindowBlinds 4 is presently only available for XP but should be available for W98, W2K and ME within a few months.

The Classic Windows is like W2K and 98 except for the double start menu in XP. Again, you would need Object Bar to give you the XP double start menu. Look through the WB library for a classic look WB and then use ObjectBar to use the WB skin start menu. Or you could make one yourself using Skin Studio. Still you would need Object Bar to give you anything other than the W98 start menu.

I`ve always thought that "classic windows" was what Win98/WinME/WinNT/Win2k looked like. When I think of "classic windows" I think of what Win98/WinME/WinNT/Win2k looks like. (And if you want to think of ancient classics then there is always Win 3.1) It seems to me that people who are using Win98/WinME/WinNT/Win2k would be more likely to want the typical (default?) WinXP luna theme which is what I see all the time on WinXP PCs. I use the luna theme on Win98SE but with the olive green color instead of the typical (default) blue color.
