Corona War Innovation XP 6.0 VS DMPv1 - D'Nite's Media Player v1.0 (1280x1024)

Personally I like Innovation XP as it has a lot of functions, and provides all DX functions in a unique popup menu, which is handy when you have programs open and maximised over your desktop, it's also a lot cleaner and better designed.

I can't help noticing that D'Nite's version is very similar, and although it based on Win media player, it seams to have more graphics from Innovation XP (which are not from the WM corona Skin) also the objects seem to be in the same place as innovation XP.

D'Nite's If you are going to make you own Corona Desktop X theme, base it on Win media player and not Adam’s Innovation XP theme and don’t rip his graphics, they maybe Corona style, but i know they are not from win media player.

Adam..if he's used your graphics and has no 'permission.txt' then the work will be withdrawn until he gets such, or satisfies you/your requirements..

Adam, the graphics have been renamed but they are pretty much the same and in some cases are identical. You should get the Admins to remove it, it's an edit of your work and if you don't make a stand everyone will start copying your work.

A rip is a rip, and DMPv1 - D'Nite's Media Player v1.0 (1280x1024) is a rip.

Even if the graphics have been reworked, they’re in the same place and, your original graphics (those not taken from windows media player) have been copied and placed in the same place as innovation and therefore they have been riped.

It's just like taking the apple logo, reworking it in Photoshop and calling it your own!

It's not about making it 'different', it is about whether the work currently uses your graphics without your consent.

It is irrelevant what it 'may' look like in the future...this upload is here, now...
