Need help with WB skinning problem

I have looked and looked and cannot find the solution to this. If someone knows the answer, I would really appreciate it.

So far I've seen 2 places where the fonts are very small and white in color. One is in PSP when you hit Shift-I to get image information. It is in the Group Boxes where it says 'Source File, Image, Status, Memory Used'. The other place is in Icon Packager when you click on 'Icons & Cursors' it is the text along the top row where it has 'Desktop, Start, Folders, etc.'

Aaaarrg, I'm pulling my hair out here

Look in the Presets section of SkinStudio. It is either using Font0 and Color1 or the other way around. I forget.

Mike, yes it appears to be using Font0 and Color0(white). I just can't figure out where the location of "it" is. "It" seems it should be in "GroupBox Frame", the two square boxes at the bottom in the Controls section, but there are no text attributes you can add. I have set other items to use Font0 and Color0 so I don't want to change the properties of Font0 and Color0.

You could check the font and color settings in the groupbox header section and the classic task button section (which is what IconPackager is using).

If those don't do the trick, then the font and color are being taken directly from Font0 and Color0. There is no other place to change them. This is a problem with the applications themselves. They are using controls that don't get font information from Windows the way that they should.

Everybody has an app or two that doesn't play nicely though. If changing that font and color is going to ruin the overall look of your skin in most applications, I would just not worry about them.

I'll check those areas. I've done a workaround for now along the lines of what you suggested. I defined an additional font and color that matched the first set to point the items to that were using that combination (the one's I set that were appropriate for their respective sections), then went back and changed the original (font0 and color0) to something that worked better for those areas I was talking about earlier that looked funny.

Could be those areas can't be changed as far as font and color, but have to use font0 and color0. If I find different, I'll let you know.

Yeah, you can't change those areas, they will always use font 0 and color 0, You can change what font 0 and color 0 are, but there is no way to assign antything else to them, unless I am gravely mistaken. I ran into this about a month ago or so
