Crusade won't launch - (silently ) Missing DLLs
I have exactly the same problem.
20 missing DLL files!

What is the fix you are trying and what dlls were missing?
Did the Crusade install and it stalled.
Ran it again. seemed fine, but won't run. Collapses after the menu, no messages. Based on another poster's experience, I ran Dependency Walker to find what was missing.
I tried downloading & installing all 20 missing DLLs.
Then I ran Dependency Walker again.
Now there are another 35 missing DLLs!
They're all things like API-MS-WIN-APPMODEL-RUNTIME-L1-1.DLL, EXT-MS-WIN-RTCORE-MINUSER-INPUT-L1-1-2.DLL etc
The appropriate Microsoft runtime packages are installed, but those DLLs don't exist on my system.
Validating the files always gives the same result.
It says that 1 file failed, and will be re-aquired, but then it does nothing about it.
CANCEL REQUEST - PROBLEM SOLVED
After a lot of research & testing, I came to the conclusion that my Windows Updates were corrupted.
Ran SURT & it fixed nearly everything.

80-odd updates and 5 reboots later, all is well.
