Fake Sinsofsolarempire site?

Is "www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update" a fake site, I tried to login and only got Google.com, now I'm auto logging into it, but that would be easy to fake, since I previously entered my info into it.

Then tried to change my email and password here and it didn't work, tried to make a support ticket and I couldn't log in--but yet I auto login to the forums and most of the site works just fine.

Pretty dodgy all around.

So either the Stardock web site is poorly implemented or it's comprised or it's a fake, not a good experience today.

Well my email I'm using is going away soon, and my purchase of Sins of Solar Empire has been replaced by the later release which we got on Steam.
