odimg.dll

I keep getting the error "Can't find ODimg.dll in the DesktopX directory or in the common files directory." when I try to run DesktopX. I have searched my hard drive for ths file and it does not exist. Any ideas?

Try re-installing the program, that can fix missing file problems, sometimes.

Hmm .. well it was worth a shot but sounds like you're way ahead of me there. Sorry, that's all I can think of. Maybe someone else will have more ideas

look in program files/common files/stardock...should be there. Copy to Desktopx folder and see if that fixes the problem

Oh yeah, make sure XP is set to 'show all files'. Some dll's won't show up in explorer or searches if they are hidden.

I just looked in that directory and I have several OD dll files there but not the ODimg one. Thanks for trying.

yrag is on the right track... ODImg.dll is used by the MCP program. You might try uninstalling that and reinstalling.

Perfect! I installed Object Dock, snagged the ODimg.dll file and copied it to the Stardock shared folder and now DesktopX works again! Thanks for the help!
