I'm about to go out and buy Freelancer. Has anyone bought it, and if so is it worth the money?

It's a game published by Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/games/freelancer/

I've read a couple of reviews online, and they both seem to agree that it's the new Elite (might be showing my age a bit there

), and I loved that game. Just wondered if anyone here had played it yet.

Just checked out the website. Bah, not my piece of cake.

Besides, I usually don't like Microsoft games.

Ah, a game! I don't play games. My son has a PS2, I just bought him a game called "Kingdom Hearts" and he is seriously impressed with it.

Did you ever play Midtown Madness paxx? Up until that point I didn't buy Microsoft games either. It was a bit like Grand Theft Auto, but you couldn't run over the pedestrians, no matter how much you tried.
