What's going on??!

everytime I use this website my computer crashes... It happens when I try to look at the previews
I don't know, maybe the fault is in my computer but I hate that 'cause I can't use this site any more

no clue why this should happen. does this also happen with a different browser as Mozilla or Opera?

What browser are you using? It sounds like a possible problem with JavaScript if it only happens when you try to open a preview.

There is a special code that we wrote. It's something like:

if user = "Nightwisher";
then computer(crash);
endif

I'm using windows XP and some time ago this didn't happen, so it's quite new thing..
I use the newest version of Mozilla and this thing does happen with explorer also

When I was using Win ME, I guess someone secretly renamed me to 'Nightwisher' and I was hit by that code....often...

moshi, it happens when I try to look the previews and sometimes when I try to load new page.. messageboard works fine I see
well I got to check my browser settings, maybe there's something wrong with the javascript settings or something

If it's any consolation, JavaScript seems to have stopped functioning entirely on my browser. One day it worked fine and the next absolutely nothing worked. A bit of a problem as I'm a web designer, as I can't even test my own sites in IE! I've yet to find out the cause, and in the meantime I have to use Mozilla for most sites.

Computers are such a pain.

WinME is the worst pain Microsoft ever invented...

It's a scheme to force people to upgrade to XP, since you can't downgrade any version of Windows.

when I bought my computer I had ME.. It was such a pain!
it crashed three times every day
now I have XP and I don't even remember when my computer has crashed before this problem

I have been using ME since I came here last December, and I haven't had any problems. I am also using NextSTART with WB's and both SDC and Wincust Browsers at the same time. I think "some people" just were TOO complicated to use ME.

Windows XP seems a lot better at first, but the longer it's on your system, the more problems show up. Damn you Microsoft and your crapware.

Microsoft has put out a couple of patchs with the statment that if you do not update with the patch you will loose IE functionality. Wonder if that is coming into play?

I never patched and IE is still working for me.

I have updated ME and all the patches MS provided, took me two days, but recently I too have lost the Java Script ability in IE, even on MS's own site, I can't read the "read more" files they provide.
I would like to know what is going on.
MS has no more patches available for my system.
Have I missed something?
