I dont know about the Start menu BUT for most things you can just drag and Drop the item into the Dock! SO for example, your hard drive *usually c:*, just click on it, hold the mouse button, drag it to the Dock and let go of the mouse button!

Simple!

NOTE: you may want to change the icon once it is added to the Dock

Example for C:\

Link : explorer.exe
Arguments : C:\

I think startmenu isn't possible (yet).

Powered by SkinBrowser!

Here's a workaround for Start Menu.

Link: explorer.exe
Arguments: C:\Documents and Settings\\Start Menu\Programs\

This will put you at your programs folder. There will still be a little navigation involved depending on how deep the particular program you want is but it beats nothing.

Hmm ...for some reason it left out part of my post. In the argument ypur user name should be in between the double backslashes.
example: C:\Documents and Settings\pictoratus\Start Menu\Programs\

Thanks guys, it works fine for the HD.
For the start menu too but I hoped that I could use a short cut to bring down the start menu (like the windows key on the keyboard).I think it is not possible to have a menu directly in the Object Dock bar.

Yes it is, but some people report a lack of success with this at this time. James T tried it with his Blue Globes suite but he nor I got it to work as of yet... The progran is relativily new still,,, and this, I'm sure will be resolved in the future. If you have sucess with it, however, plz post it!
