Stardock interfere with Windows updates?

Anyone have any experience with having to disable/uninstall Stardock apps in order to install updates?

My machine has been trying to install 1607 for months and it's failed countless times. I tried last week pulling the optical drives and additional HDDs from the motherboard. It failed.

I did this when I installed Windows 10 in order to get it to install. I also had to remove all non essential USB devices as well which is a major pain for me since my machine has several devices plugged into it (pro audio gear, VR headsets). If the devices don't get plugged back into the port they were in, they don't' work right (I really should label them).

I'm probably going to try again tonight. I'll go ahead and remove the drives and devices (ugh). I just want to find out if it's recommended to uninstall windowblinds and everything else before I try to install the update.

If you have WindowBlinds please do check the about box to see that it is 10.0.7 or later (ideally 10.50)  It would not stop upgrades but would crash things later after upgrade.

Other than that I think you should be good.
