So, updates for a year, then after that year, should I need to reformat my computer, I can still get the products as I originally downloaded them, yes?

I just saw the subscription thing on my account page, and looked at some more threads and I want to be sure it's going to stay forever, even if in a non-updated form?

Where it currently shows

"Object Desktop - Expires in 363 days

Product key: XX-XXXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXX (Manage)"

That will go away after a year, but I will still be able to download it from that page if I should have to format or transfer computers. Yes?

If you backup your software it is good forever, you will just not be able to get any software updates after the one year period expires is all. Never hurts to keep a local copy of your key on your PC too.

While I'm not the go to expert.

Down load the files and back them up to an external drive or USB. This way you have the programs that you purchased. Your product key can always be obtained from your download list at Stardock.

I assume that it would also be a good idea to check for updates before your annual sub runs out just to be sure you are indeed, up to date.

Need to reformat, download those files and when they ask, insert the product key and all should be good.

Pretty sure this is correct if not, please someone pipe up.

**** Dang Tom, beat me to it while I was typing. ****
