Fences Visibility during Autohide

On Boot, no fences visible.  Double clicking fences and icons included in fences appear/disappear normally. For info: DeskScapes revolving earth is static (should be revolving).

Right clicking in blank area of screen causes DeskScapes earth to start to start revolving and configure Fences menu to appear AND visible Fences on screen to disappear leaving all the icons for all fences visible.  The Icons look like desktop icons but double clicking any icon causes all the fences to reappear.  Then double clicking any icon will cause it to perform its function.

Thereafter, double clicking in a blank area of the screen will cause the fences to toggle on/off; but the icons are never invisible.

I have reloaded latest fences 3.0 but no change. 

Tried to uninstall fences (uninstall.exe) in anticipation of a clean reinstall, but get an error message from Stardock: "Invalid start mode archive filename" whatever that is.  So this annoying piece of software is stuck on my screen and I cannot delete it.  Double Whammy.  I just want Fences off my system; more has been more trouble than its worth.

Any thoughts?
