Widgets for Skin Studio

excellent question

I would guess two possibilities:
1. There are a lot of newbies who haven't learned how yet.(just ask me)
2. The more experienced skinners make their own from scratch.

something else occurs to me: A lot of the things which could be imported as widgets are *very* theme specific and probably wouldn't be of any use outside of the original theme.

I suppose you're right werewolf. But perhaps a then if skinners don't want to share, then that library is kind of pointless I think.

so you're thinking of having skinners doing specifically common type generic widgets?

I can certainly understand that when a skinner makes a certain graphic for a skin, and it turns out really great, that they may not want to share it. It's thier work. They put time and sweat into it. Personnally, I have never used a widget. I"ll play with a skin graphic (in my good old trustworthy PSP7) for hours, until it looks like what I want it to. I was just wondering what the purpose of the library is then. And maybe it should be like you said, for common type widgets. I know theres a good number of them in Skin studio, but they are so old (and that's not to say they're not good). theve been there since I started using the prog.
