Start Menu sometimes does not close

I have installed Start10 (Default Theme) on several Win10 laptop and desktop machines and I sometimes have the trouble that the start menu does not close when clicking elsewhere on the desktop.  This seems to happen most often when a cascaded menu has opened off the Start10 menu.  I sometimes have to click in the Start Menu itself, other times several clicks on the desktop will do it.  No consistent pattern.

Also have not determined whether this happens more or less often on desktops than laptops.

Anyone else have similar experience?  Any fix?
