I thought Carbon Fibre had more of a "braided" look, like this:

I have two pieces of carbon fibre from Formula 1 (found in Montreal around the track after the race). I think they are from Ukio Katayama's Tyrrell ('95-ish), as he had a nasty crash there during the race. One of the pieces is a flat piece of "skin", the other is a chunk of wing or something but you can see the aluminum honey-comb interior, very impressive, state-of-the-art materials.

Your theme looks good too BoXXi, just not quite as "real" as I was hoping for.
Maybe if the braid was at a 45° it would stand out more? I dunno...

Phydeaux_3.....carbon fibre can be laid up in many forms, from resin composites to integral aluminium or carbon honeycomb, and ultimately top-coats such as paint affect its appearance anyway.

Back about '86 or so, I had Prost's McLaren Carbon Fibre brake disk in my hot little hands....one of the first instances of its use in brakes...[they had trouble getting 'em hot enough to work]...looked like plastic, rather than carbon....though the bit of Minardi I have [from about '87] is a thin honeycomb section of side pod which is exactly like BoXXi's wall....

Treetog and Alexandrie were kind enough to let me have that skin in the screenshot when I was making my carbon Fibre skin, to help me with the margins etc. It's called "Carbonix" and it's just fabulous!! (thanks Renato and Johanne )

Maybe that was another exclusive subscriber skin that never made it for some unknown reasons ?

Sorry to be so sarcastic, but that's my way to do a hint in a special direction...

I have around 15 unreleased WB skins. I have been waiting until WB4 was finished so that I could add the new features, but now I find myself busy with real life issues and very little time to work on adding the new stuff. And most of them have a matching DX theme with them too!

I have a holiday coming up in about a week, maybe I will finish them off then.

Love the skin. Mucho cool colors. One question....Can you change the font color? When I go to a white background, all my text is invisible.
