Crash when I turn off monitors and back on

Fences 3.03 crashes everytime I turn off power to my monitors. When I try and reloaed fences I get a message to reinstall fences. I have to reboot the computer to get it working again. I think it has to do something with using TV monitors instead of actual monitors. I use two 4k 40-inch TV monitors. Monitor 1 is Seiki 4K display and monitor 2 is Vizio 40-inch display. Using windows 10.
