Start 10 does not work for one user login

Start 10 has stopped working for a single login. The recently used part of the start menu only shows a list of the same generic work station icon for each entry, with the label 'App'. When you click on one of these, the 'My Computer' screen appears.
'All Programs' lists the correct icons for all of the apps, but none of them work. Desktop icons display properly, but do not work.
Logins for two other profiles work fine, so far.
How can I correct this? I installed version 1.50, with no improvement.
