Folder Portal Navigation Improvement
Follow the bouncing arrow! Not!
Other than a few small bugs, I love fences!
The following is a suggestion to fix a navigation design "bug".
I extensively use Folder Portals on my desktop. I use multiple sub-folders. After navigating several sub-folders deep, I often want to quickly back up through my path. However, because the little arrow for backing up is ATTACHED to the left side of the title (and not the title BAR) the arrow bounces back and forth every time the length of the title changes. This causes the back up button/arrow to move out from under the mouse pointer, requiring you to reposition the mouse almost every time you back up a level. The little arrow is also a small target, requiring precise positioning.
This is a hastle which can be easily fixed....
Please "tie" the backup button to the left area of the TITLE BAR (NOT the title itself), So that the button won't change position every time you back out of a sub-folder.
Also, please draw a little outline around the arrow to slightly enlarge the active button area, making it an easier target.
Thanks,
Jim
