Latest update to WB causes some applications and dialogs to lose their title bar

I have to use Task Manager to move or close these windows!

I am regretfully abandoning WindowBlinds. The latest update, installed November 7, 2016, caused some applications (such as VLC), and some modal dialogs, to lose their title bars, meaning there was no way to move the application or dialog, dismiss the dialog, or exit the application, except by finding its entry in Windows Task Manager and closing it from there. Also, the update caused WindowBlinds to disappear from the wretched Start menu. I think this is sloppy work, folks, and I do not have the patience to put up with it going forward.

Hi Neil,

thank you for the tips! I went with option 2 and it worked with one exception: the background of min/max/close buttons is not skinned properly. It is now just color inherited from some element. Ill apply some other FF skins and see if it's perhaps an issue with my custom FF/PM theme.

update: so after applying several other PM skins I see that the issue with the min/max/close buttons' background remains: it looks like that section is stretched vertically (my guess is that it inherits the sizing of default win10 min/max/close buttons background)

update2. on further inspection I noticed the following: I use relatively thin titlebar thanks to "tabs in titlebar" extension FF/PM. Previously this had global impact on all elements of the titlebar (buttons as well), but now the size of buttons' background just won't get decreased.

I have tried several different WB themes and PM skins with Pale Moon 27 and while renaming the PM exe to firefox.exe brings back the title bar, the painting of caption buttons (min/max/close) retains the size of default win10 buttons. Specifically, the buttons retain the size defined by a WB skin but their background covers the large area of default win10 buttons.

Is it something that can be solved via future WB update?
