How about an up-to-date skinning guide?

Where is Aleksyandr when you need him?

I would love to see a more detailed skinning guide. Not that Aleksyandr didn't do a great job but more along the lines of....
Skinning WindowBlinds For Dummies

I would be most helpful. Skinstudio helps a lot but it only is a template. I would like to know more about what and where each part is and what it's purpose is.

You know maybe if someone had the time classes for Wimcustomize Subscribers. It would keep the class size down and also possibly bring more subscribers to the mix.

yes in deed what Keila has so thoughtfully uttered is alright with me

Shucks, I thought the Benefits Guide was insurance on my new skin.

Classes? And how would they be held. Unless it is one of those away classes.

Internet class is now in session boys and girls.

Maybe a IM session would be more helpful. That was what I was thinking about for one of my tutorials (many moons from now) for C++ scripting and VB (scripting for newbies). And other stuff.

IM might be the way to go. Or maybe a specific message board just for class. It can work with the browser thingy you guys made.

you know... the browser thingy... ahhh what is the name of it. I don't want to look, I just want to remember it. Is it Skin Browser? WinCust Skin Browser?

Classes aren't needed, just up-to-date documentation. Something I hope is already in the works..............

but classes could be fun! Seriously. Chatting together, oming up with short cuts, working in a stuctured team frame of teacher student or group learning.

ahhhhh... could be fun Koasati.

Step by cautious step. A guide for the timid. Those who don't dare because they feel intidated by the works of others. Stardock needs to publish a more comprehensive guide, yes, for the Dummies amongst us. This of course has been talked about time, and time, again. >

I know it has been talked about, that's what got me thinking on it again.
There has to be a way to do this without it being to much of a burden on teachers/instructors of a class.

We can have a IM-athon. Teaching Skinning and U.

or a "what's what" session on a news server or messageboard.

Maybe a "Ohhhh I didn't see that so that's why it didn't work." Class for Dummies in Skinning.

You could also play with it... as a matter of fact, part of your homework is to play with it and talk to other skinners for supports. Team work will get you through. Imagine a class project!!

That would be something else.
