Icon disappears when dragged and dropped into fence area

I have Windows 10. All is up to date.  Fences is up to date.  I've been having an issue lately where I will create a new shortcut or link, then click and drag it into a previously setup fenced area, and the icon simply disappears.  It is not in the fence, on the desktop or anywhere to be found.  I've had this occur multiple times.  I've been using fences for a number of years, but this only recently started when I had to reinstall Windows from scratch, and had to recreate all of my fences and shortcuts.

I am also seeing this problem with Windows 10 and Fences 3.03. Looking at windows file explorer, the shortcuts still exist on the desktop. However, dropping them in a fence "hides" them. Very scary when you drop an icon and it disappears.
