"WindowBlinds does not appear to be installed correctly on your machine"

I bought it, installed it, and got the above error. Windows 10. Not running any specific anti-virus (except Windows Defender). No other application I run has any issue with installation like this. And I've already uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled. Still nothing. What am I supposed to do? Under what circumstances am I allowed to use this product?
