Can't change desktop incon text anymore

I posted this in my other thread but thought I should start a new one.
Just installed WB 4, and now my desktop icon text stays white and I usually had it black like you can see if you click on my name.
I used to change it through the display properties -> appearance -> advanced -> other advanced -> and change the desktop color to white so my text would be black. Now that has no effect.
In the Windowblinds settings, 'apply the skins colour scheme' and 'apply any wallpaper supplied' is checked off.
Would really appreciate any help.
