Windows 10 not allowing window blinds to skin

Windows 10 anniversary

After the Windows 10 anniversary update certain programs like Outlook and Microsoft word office 360 lost the ability to change the page color from white to an  other color as default. This never happened before. I then installed window blinds 10 edited a pre-set skin and applied it to the desktop, nothing happened. There was no change to either my applications or the Windows OS shell. It is as if Windows system colors are locked and not allowing any attempt by whatever means to change them. This is an incredibly annoying situation. Particularly for me as I am almost blind and must be able to manipulate the colors of backgrounds and text in my applications in order to easily use my computer. I have been doing this for years and often assist others like myself in setting up their computers to make Them easier to use. To suddenly lose the ability to do so is quite frustrating. Has anyone else come across this problem? Any information would be most welcome.

Thanks

I'd suggest you submit a support ticket. Although people will often answer on the forums, if the answer is difficult or there isn't an answer, you may never get a reply. They at least tend to reply to support tickets.

What version of Windows and WindowBlinds are you running?
