Windows 10 screen showed up at startup

I had Start 10 installed on my wife's laptop so it looked like the Windows 7 screen we were familiar with. When she started the PC this morning, it came up to the Windows 10 screen. I couldn't figure out how that happened or how to make it revert to the Windows 7 appearance. In desperation, I ran System Restore and that put us back to the familiar Windows 7 desktop. Any idea what caused this? Was there a way to do it without running System Restore?

Same problem here. I think Windows Update broke Start 10.

I submitted a support ticket. Running Start10 version 1.5.

Anyone else with same issue?

Uninstall Start10, reboot and reinstall Start10.  It should be fine then.

The other possibility is your computer is set to use Tablet mode which is controlled from the Action Centre.  In that mode the computer will boot to the fullscreen Windows start screen and have no desktop.
