Windows 10 updated itself and removed the desktop with my fences with their icons and substituted a desktop with its Windows 10 tiles.

Anybody know how to get the desktop with my fences back?

It sounds like you may have enabled Tablet Mode in the OS. This can be changed from the Action Centre in Windows 10.
