Start10 crashes Windows when right-clicking on items, icons, or files

Right-clicking on a Start menu item, desktop icon, or file to change the properties or remove an item from the Start menu causes Windows to crash or freeze. I experienced this problem with Start8 and now again with Start10. I'm surprised this problem hasn't been resolved. It renders customization of the Start menu and desktop virtually impossible.

This is not normal.

I imagine you have some third party software interfering with the operation of Start10 (and Start8) as we are not getting other reports of this and Start8 and Start10 are in use on a considerable number of machines.

If you look in the eventlog, does it blame a specific module?

I would recommend contacting Stardock support so they can collect additional information from you.
