Icon text by default is automatically set to black or white depending on what the bg colour of the desktop is.
It's white on dark bg's, and vice-versa.

ok it says some weird stuff about starting up with windows. it says to add "-nowait" to the file name, if you don't it will delay loading for 90 seconds. whats up with that? i don't understand where to type "-nowait"

same here spiral.......im just sticking with the delay, like it said it avoids conflict which is always good

Right click your desktop -> properties -> appearance -> advanced -> other advanced -> then where it says 'items', click on that and go down to desktop. If you want black text (which I have and you can click on my name to see my desktop) make 'color 1' white. Hit ok, then apply and it should change.

To keep it from changing when you reboot, after goin to 'display properties' and hittin 'appearance', hit 'windowblinds' then 'settings' and uncheck 'apply the skins colour scheme'.

You don't need any third party software.

The DJ does it only have option of black or white though?

and i have 3 user accounts on my pc, will it change the font colour of all of them?
Oops, that will only do white and black like Hippy said. My bad. Not sure if there is another way besides gettin something third party.

As for the 3 user accounts, it shouldn't and you would have to change it once for each account.

just looked and it does more than black and white but the blue it gives is wrong shade, iconoid has the exact one

The DJ, is that a XP thing? i'm not finding it on Win 98 aw well. the "apply skins color theme" will suffice. thanks all

yeah spiral think its XP only, which is why the third party software comes in real handy
