For all that sh** I spouted yesterday, I was having a REALLY lousy day & proceeded to take it out on all the wrong people. I hope that anyone I offended yesterday will accept my appology. I will try much harder in future to not let my emotions get the better of me. Again, I'm sorry. It was nobody here's fault & I know that most of the friendly people here are only trying to help, sorry to have dumped on some of you's.

As somebody pointed out "fido needed to take a pill" & you don't even know just how right you were.

Secondly, get rid of that annoying 'Galactic Civilizations' pop-up, pbblease??!
I lose respect really quickly for sites that assault the visitor with pop-ups.
Maybe a link to the GalCiv site somewhere on the front page instead?
(of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong)

If I may butt-in here... why should one have to rely on another program to stop pop-ups. I agree with Phy.. pop ups are very annoying. Even though this site is affiliated (or ran) by Stardock, it is a real turn off to have pop up adds sprouting.
The pop up doesn't happen if you are logged in, but if you empty your cookies and temp inet files, the next time you come on here the pop up will nail ya...

I don't use WebBlinds cuz they never fixed up Toon-XP for the "long" version which I run. IE looks fine without it (long titlebar) so I just don't run it. Glad to read somewhere that Toon-XP IS undergoing some punch-up, now I won't have to "ungrey" my shutdown/logoff dialogs manually everytime after I apply the suite. A CursorXP set AND a Logon would be killer too.

Phydeaux, as a level 3 user you should not be getting a popup, I think.
I thought adds were just for unpaying members, no?

I'll have to inquire about that. I don't realy know cause I use Avant Browser (great program!), which has popup blocking among other features. Another possibility is that Stardock have launched Galactic Civilisation last week, so maybe it's just a temporary thing for the launch and will be gone shortly?
Dunno for sure.

Well if I had a website and had something new that I had developed I would think that I could feel free to have a pop up on my site about my new product.

Not saying of course that this site belongs to only 1 person.
