The future of the world and we don't even know it.

http://armageddononline.tripod.com/index.htm

this is the site to tell you that this world isn't a safe place to be in at all. It tells you about major disasters in the future, some even in June 2003. And the war we've all been talking about, World War III, otherwise as known as War of Armaggedon. This and more in this very site!!! Please comment.

Sometimes I think people are too anxious for it to end.

No offense, but "Please comment" was maybe a bit optimistic? The whole 'predicting the future' thing is asking for it. I think you'll find the clientèle here a bit surly and weathered. Not a gullible crew.

I'll pass. In my experience this kind of thing is just the beginning. Once you scratch the surface you usually find all kinds of nasty revisionist history and conspiracies galore. I've had enough conflict in my life for the last week or two.

( p.s. there's no such thing as the USSR anymore. )

lol, i just looked in on the forum. I have a cousin, Joe Nickel. He's been a professional skeptic all his life (Skeptical Inquirer magazine, CSICOP, various debunking books of his own). One look in there and his head would explode. It is a cornicopia of nuttiness.

As a side note, I would recommend Skeptical Inquirer to anyone with a bit of free time. http://www.csicop.org/si/

Thanks, bakerstreet. It will be a good reference.

Plenty of opportunities for major disasters in the near or distant future (be it nature or man-caused). But the crystal ball type of things don't cut it with me.

It always troubles me that adults ridicule superstitions like, say, santa claus, and other 'heart on your sleeve' beliefs based in goodnessbut if ya give a lot of rational adults the Revelation of the Apocalypse, or evil secret societies ruling the world and they swallow them hook, line and sinker.

It is a shame we can't reserve our blind belief for things more peaceful and kind. I wear a St. Christopher medal, and I'm not Catholic. But then neither is he, anymore, if my understanding of Vatican II is correct.

Who needs natural disasters. If there's a way of bringing the world to an end the human race will find it

I C OC decided to show up

I think it will end around like what the Bible talks about. And by reading Revelations in several diffrent Bibles. It sounds more like several rocks hitting us.

- America has Nukes without radiation, power is same or greater but no after effects. So, if we drop them there won't be a nukular winter.

- America has several plans with onboard lasers that can shot down missles above the launch sites.

There is more but that's two of the biggest tech things that will play a part in the war if things get out of hand.

Not even the Angel's in Heaven nor the Son of Man knows the time of the end.

All I can add is, live the life your given to it's fullest, and by Faith be ready just the same.
