I have all your software for Windows 7 and installed IconPacker 5.1 on Windows 10 without checking there were compatiablity problems.

Is there going to be a New IconPackager for Windows 10? What do I do now.

Dear Sir / Madam

As per the Title I installed IconPackager on Windows 10 and it kind of works bet there are some problems.

I have found that I cant uninstall the changes that I have made. And don't want to go back to a clean install.

Can I buy a Windows 10 Version to fix the problems.

If I uninstall it, it leaves a mess and lots of exe icon are all the same and can't change.

So at this stage its best left on.

Any advice would be helpful.

IconPackager10 is in beta right now and available to Object Desktop subscribers.  You can subscribe now at https://store.stardock.com/product/ESD-SDS-W011

Once the beta is complete it will be available to everyone though.

However, because you forced a version that was not compatible, you may not be able to restore the corrupted icons.

Hi ZubaZ,

I just bought the Object Desktop, is it best to install icon 10 over the top of 5 or uninstall ver 5 first.

Fixed most of my problems now with the beta version.

 

Thank you for your help. Just go Ashes of the Singularity and looking forward to play it just waiting on more sun as we live off grid on solar power.
