start 10 triggers netbios name service query

not worried, just enquiring

Hi there, I purchased Start 10 yesterday after trialling it for a month or so.
While I was running wireshark I noticed some behaviour that is not in the slightest way bothering me
but is puzzling to me. Every time I opened the start 10 menu
it triggered several NBNS (Net Bios Name Service) queries to the network, and again whenever I clicked an item.

I just wondered why.
Let me reiterate: I realise this behaviour is normal when mapping the network and I do trust Stardock,
but the behaviour is slightly puzzing and I wondered what the technical explanation is?

That is odd.  Nothing in the code should be causing it to hit anything network related when you open the menu.

Are you sure you are not seeing the Windows 10 logging going on as that's known to log things like that.

What address is it trying to lookup?
