Rating System

Could someone please clarify how the Rating Sytem works?
I can't seem to find any info on it.

I'm refering to the numbers to the right of the Skin Author's in the Top Author's pane and also how and who comes up with the 1-10 rating that I see when I am looking at my personal skin library.

Thanks

If you are a Citizen or Apprentice, anything you upload is moderated before it appears on the site. A moderator must give it a rating when they approve it.

If you are a Journeymen or higher, your uploads are automatically accepted and given a default rating of 6.

Once your upload appears on the site, other users can rate it.

Sorry, I missed part of your question. The numbers on the top authors list are not related to ratings at all. They are the number of downloads of each author's work from the previous day. The number of downloads is divided by 10 to save space. So adni18 (604) means that adni18's combined works were downloaded 6040 times yesterday.

Skin ratings don't accurately show the skin's proficiency but gives the administrators an idea of what the rater's personality is like. What? Your name is submitted with the rating and a list is prepared for who is nice and who is naughty.
