Changing Font Style

I am tweaking a style I like to play and personalize it using Skin Studio for WindowBlinds 10. The problem I am having is the font changes and displays in the preview, but when I apply it will not take effect.

Here is what I am referring to:

Clock Font

The top blue clock is the preview in Skin Studio, the bottom is my clock. The red background is an alteration I made, so I did something correctly. Anyone have an idea of what I missed?

It looks like the font has a shadow. You can change the font from those already on board or can remove the shadow by editing the text. On SKS7 the change is at the bottom left of the text edit window.

I added that shadow, I also colored the font. I see how to edit it, the bottom is what came default with the style I downloaded and the top is the changes I made, but the change isn't taking effect on my actual taskbar when I save and apply.

Might help to know which version of Windows you're running.  I'm fairly certain you can't change it on Win10 (I would love to be wrong about that), but I always see white instead of black text.  I've no idea about Win8.

Sorry, yea I am running Windows 10. I didn't consider WB10 working on other OS versions. That is aggravating if you cannot change clock font on Win10.

No, sorry, I was just plain wrong.  I guess I was thinking of the always-white icons I always see, and the skin I had loaded had white text.

It looks like you're in the right place in SkinStudio- Startmenu and Taskbar / Taskbar / Tray/ Clock text

One thing I did notice while I was poking around - one of the three skins I was playing with was a little "stubborn". I had to change both the font and color, then apply, change both again to something else then apply, and change them I think a third time before the changes actually appeared.  Just changing the color wasn't doing it. After that it changed regularly, and the changes were fine after changing skins.  I don't know what that was about, but you might try that - just "kicking it" a few times.

Sorry about that, somehow I had it in my head that it was locked.
