[Fences 3] 9.2MB update every day

So every day for the last week I receive a desktop notification that Fences 3 needs to download and install a 9.2MB update, whether or not I choose to install it, it appears the next day.

The problem is it minimizes everything I am doing in fullscreen, be it multiplayer games where its really disrupting, or watching videos.

When I get in the Fences configuration, go to About and Check for updates, it says I am in the latest version ( 3.0.1 )

I don't know if reinstalling will make me lose my desktop configuration, and will need a backup, which I don't know where to find, if reinstalling is necessary.

Is there anything I can do? I can provide images of the popup next time it happens, but you probably know the popup better than me.

You will not lose your configuration if you manually reinstall.

I recommend you do that and see if the issue is resolved.

Hello again, thanks for the answer, i reinstalled and tested it for some days and I am now sure it doesnt happen anymore.

Also, I noticed that the 9.2Mb update is exactly the weight of Fences3 upgrade in My Downloads, so it just got messy after upgrading from Fences2 without reinstalling.
