Need help with SmartButtons

You don't create a brand new type of smart button (unless you want code one up) but you can select from pre-existing smart buttons.

Bring up the WindowBlinds configuration (either the windowblinds button in the Displa Property's Appearance dialog or from the windowblinds icon in your system tray)

Select SmartButtons under Settings. From there you can configure what a smart button can do. If I recall correctly you can: display a menu that has your quicklaunch items listed, launch a URL, rollup the window, or set the window to always on top.

There aren't that many skins with smart buttons. It never really seemed to take off in popularity. I think several of Starone's skins use smart buttons

The new Alien Technology uses smart buttons. The thing is that if a skin has a smart button, then the skin author already has created its purpose. IOW, if it's there now, it should already do something. If it doesn't do anything, then there is something else wrong.

Which skin are you referring to Mr Floymin?

I am refering to Champagne. Is there something wrong or missing?

From other threads petaining to smart buttons it was pointed out that the smart buttons don't work with the trial version of WB.
