a noob question

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but, I've been trying out the WindowBlinds demo and like it pretty well and am thinking of getting the full version. I saw on the news that the new version is about to come out. If I get the current version, do I get a free upgrade to the new one, or do I still pay full price when the new one comes out? Should I just wait until the new version comes out to buy it so as not to pay twice? I couldn't any information on this at Stardock.

I'm fairly certain that if you bought the current version, you would get a free upgrade seeing as though WB4 is coming out next week.

Thanks werewolf. You're right. StarDock wrote me back and said if I got WindowBlinds now, I would get the new version upgrade free. It's supposed to come out in about a week.
That's pretty cool. Some software you get a special upgrade price, but some you just have to pay the full price again. Yea for StarDock!!

if you buy WB by itself, you get it and all upgrades until the next full version number. If you buy ObjectDesktop, you get all kinds of cool stuff and all the free upgrades no matter how many versions they go to for one year. It's an excellent deal.

I agree with werewolf. For the price you really can't go wrong.

/me thinks that Object Desktop is better then sliced bread.

object desktop is better than a roast beef sandwich, with swiss, and miracle whip .... mmmmm mmmmm....

yeah check out the features of getting the full OD.net it's really worth it... you get a lot more than just windowblinds
