~ PixOS Sysmetrix help...

~ Has anyone experienced a problem with the Sysmetrix skin for PixOS? For some reason when I apply it, it doesn't show up on the desktop. It's running but it's not there. Other skins work but not PixOS. I'm using the beta Sysmetrix but it shouldn't matter. Any suggestions or possible fixes??

ok...

first, make sure the skin is actually there. The path for it should be /sysmetrix/themes/PixOS Just like that.

if that is correct, then launch sysmetrix and get into the configuration menu. Go to the "Theme Settings" section, go to the "Background" text box, click on the browse button, navigate to the PixOS folder and select 'PixOS.bmp'. At that point, it *should* show correctly. ****Click 'Save Current Theme' ****

You should be good to go. If not, please reply with your results.

~ Sorry, werewolf. The correct file was already chosen. Just to make sure I redid it and nothing happened. Time to get in touch with treetog.

hmmm...Don't understand that. Worked fine here. I've been having a problem with the e-mail function. It can't find my e-mail host, even though the setup info is correct. Maybe something has gone a bit wonkey with the new version?

No problem with PixOS on my system. Sometimes the SysMetrix program shows up about 2" to the left of where I last left it and I just open up config and hit the little arrow bar to move it back in position. I then save the theme and it works 99% of the time. For the 1 percent it doesn't I just redo the above.
PixOS is without a doubt my favorite theme.
