Anyone with screensaver creating software...

I was wondering if anyone (if possible) could create me a small screensaver .scr file that just loads an external .swf file (address: D:\Flash\ScreenSaver.swf ) full screen, preferably without any software ad, although if you wanted to place a small personal ad I would understand. I once had a guy just compile my swf file into a screensaver, but now that I want to change the swf file, I'm out of luck. I'd like for it to point to and load an external swf file so I can update and change my screensaver whenever I want. Thanks

isn't there a swf2gif converter so you could use an animated gif file to create the screen saver instead? just wondering.

There are Free screen-saver making software out there. Run a search and they will show. I use to have a screen-saver maker, freeware. It is only an animated graphic program. Bitmaps are a certain size, can't remember what size, and I think 256 colors.

Memory tells me the size might 320 x 400 but that may be wrong because my memory sucks.

To save the screen-saver,,, hm-mm,,,
Desktop architect will save the graphic, System mechanic will also. Probably many other tweaking programs will also. You might be able to just save it as a screen-saver file. I don't use screen-savers so really don't know what file extention it is.

MM: there are software that allows you to convert a SWF into a screensaver. You could just guy one (I don't think any are free).

Or what you can do for the future is make in Flash an empty SWF movie that only had an action that loads another SWF movie. Then get your friend to convert the empty SWF into a screensaver, this way you'll be able to change your second SWF (the one that gets loaded) as often as you wish.
Do I make sense?
