anybody have this problem using sdc?

when opening links in sdc threads, i get this popup 'server busy - this action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem.' i have tried switching to different default browsers with no luck. sound familiar anyone?

If you don't have a Firewall that tells you what ports you have open..I think it's port 5000...you can get a little app. https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 that will tell you if it's enabled. If it is open then that's not the problem. If it isn't download UnPnP proggie and enable.

it was open but after reading article i closed it with that program. thanx for the link. since it was open though, that wasn't the problem.

ummmmmm.now I feel like I'm on a mission!!!! I had all kinds of problems at the same time so as you can tell all these are just guesses. One of the problems I had was when I used ObjectBar. If you're using it, unload it and try SDC.

I just thinking maybe we're making this harder then it is. The newest version is 0.99.138.... I wonder if there is a back door to download and apply since you can't get into SDC

OK ...here we go.... open ZonePro and go to 'programs control' hit tab 'programs". Scroll down to Internet Explorer, highlight and click on options in lower right corner. Hit tab "security' and uncheck 'enable privacy settings'

IE Tools is an 3rd party addon...

It can cause allkinds of weird crap...

and SDC, WCB both make use of the IE engine from what I can gather, I know I had to switch back from Opera being my default before some serious issues ended with both the WCBrowser and SDC but that might just be my system....
