Boot Program

Does anyone know of a program you can use to change boot screens? I'm not sure how to change them. Thank You...

Do you mean the logon screen...on WinXP for example? If so you can use LogonStudio which does that for you............here's da link https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/

I think she means XP's boot screen. So she should look into http://www.bootxp.net/ or http://www.nihuo.com/changerxp.html (both shareware)

I think Princess means the Windows XP logo splash screen that comes on the screen before the login screen. That is what is meant by boot screen.

Ahhhh, now I see. I know that it's a file hidden away in a root folder somehwere cuz I did manage to change it once to put up a borg boot screen telling me my comp had been assimilated.

Boot screen... I /think/ there's a program out there that handles the hacking for you, I don't remember.

It takes some file hacking to change it in XP (and 2k) otherwise, however. Not for the faint of hearted.

(Though I've gotta say, my hacked shell32 is chugging right along happily.)
