lost min/max/resize/close buttons

After a year of playing with these programs I still haven't gotten the hang of how they work. I downloaded some themes and some icons that move. Some tried to install themselves after they were downloaded (I think they might have been related to Desktop-X, whatever that is). And somewhere along the line I lost my min/max/resize/close buttons everywhere except online. How do I get them back? Help. Anybody know if there is a hardcopy of how these programs work?

If it is Windowblinds related you might try changing the WB theme. If you are using winXP you can revert back to regular XP until you get find the culprit.

Thanks. I changed themes. Got the buttons back. I think I'll keep this theme for awhile before I go exploring again.
