little problem with Desktop X

I did some changes to a Desktop X theme I downloaded, and the "shortcuts bar" that was initially on the right, is now on the left (my own preferance).
But if I go to the DX options to keep my working area out of the "shortcuts bar", the windows don't follow, and maximized, they go on top of the bar (on the forbidden area), and half of the window is not visible...
Is it a glitch or is there something i can do?
thanx.

If you didn't save your theme yet, You could shut down DesktopX and the restart it and your Working Area options should go back to default...It's just a guess though

here is what it says in the documentation:
4.2.2 Desktop
Here you can specify the desktop area used by applications. This can be useful for defining reserved areas for objects. Maximised objects will never encroach into these areas though you should be aware that non-maximised windows can be dragged over these areas.

For Top and left parameters the number is the distance in pixels from the edge. For Right and Bottom parameters positive values specify an absolute distance from the Top or Left side. Negative values specify distances from that edge.

For example: Top 50, Left 0, Bottom –50, Right 50 will set a working area with a 50 pixel margin from the top and 50 pixel margin from the bottom. This will be resolution independent because the Right and Bottom parameters are relative to that screen edge.

You can also check a box to hide desktop icons.

the thing is
when i put a value for the left side, it gives teh same value for the right side too (even tho it still shows 0 in the options).
And it doesn't let me enter a negative value for the rigth side either.
I'm not sure what's going on...

What value are you entering for both?

I have 33 at the bottom (for the task bar), 65 on top, 0 on the right, and 80 on the left (my bars are top nested left)...
