CrankPad:...... I found it again!

Many people have asked me about the notepad app that I used in these two screenshots:

Well, I found a place where you can still download it http://www.hktk.com/soft/soft_edit/crankpad_1.html The site is in chinese (I think) but if you choose the first download link in the list, you will find it works.

CrankPad is a very cool notepad replacement that is transparent and can change the color of it's window. You can have it framed or unframed, change the font and the font color. Just right click the window for lots of options.
I have always enjoyed using this little application, and I'm sure many of you will too.

The download link worked for me. Snarph, do you mean the website link or the app download link? If the app download link, try right clicking and save as or save target.

Styl: Just practice I guess. It's hard to describe how I make my stuff, I just play till it looks right! I learn most things from tutorials on the net, and then just mess around with them to make them my own. Does that make sense?

Styl, if your up for a book, the WOW series for Photoshop have an extream amount of tutorial work in the. You can cheat and just use Styles and such, but the author wishes people to go through the instructions he walks you through to learn how to do those things without filtes, actions or his styles...

Kinda cool really, he wants you to learn it and make it yours, as BoXXi said, he owns it and I do not mean by way of money, it's him, BoXXi, his work
