Flickering and mixed up screen content

I first searched in this forum for known issues, and there seem to be some (back in 2013), but never got a solution.

I'm running fences 2.13, currently in trial mode but planning to purchase it. One of the reasons is that I like the "Folder Portal". Although, it's in this "Folder Portal" that I see a strange behavior. And I don't feel like paying if the issue doesn't get solved.

It seems that when I place a window (for example a new e-mail that I want to write) over the Folder Portals, the text is kind of disappearing regularely - just like flicker. Only the text, or part of characters, where no Folder Portal is shown on the desktop underneath, remain visible.

In some cases the behavior is even more strange. Looks like the whole window gets corrupted, and shows colored bars or mixed up content. But there seems always a correlation with the position of the Folder Portals underneath.

I do not have issues with the normal Fences, and never had issues with Fences 1 (which didn't have Folder Portals, so the issue must be related to that I guess).

I took a few screenshots, and even filmed a part to show the dissapearing of text. Just don't know how to include them in this forum.
